Find a file not working RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I got problem Find a file in Library not working but global search and other library are working.

    Any solution?

  • Hi Subhash,

    Does it occur in this library only?

    1. If so, make sure that you have allowed items from this library to appear in search results in library Advanced Settings.
    2. If not, check if your Search Service Application and SharePoint Server Search (Manage Services on Server) are running properly.

    For further troubleshooting, check if the library is crawled successfully in the Crawl Log.

    But, still not working for Find a file.

  • Hi Ameenah,

    Did you check the Crawl Log?

    Can you search files in this library through Site Search?

    Then you can Reindex Document Library in Library Advanced Settings and run a Full Crawl in Search Service Application.
