  • Since the cause of the issue could be various, let's try to fix it with the following methods:

    1. Configure Windows to start in clean boot mode, and try to run setup again.

    2. Install all available update for Windows, and the latest version of .Net Framework, and try to run setup again.

    3. Grant the permission for the folder contains the file (Microsoft.Businessdata.dll), and try to run setup again.

To do so, start your computer by using an administrator account, and run the following command in an evaluated command prompt:

    • Type cacls.exe "\folderpath" /G BUILTIN\Administrators:F, and then press ENTER.
    • When you read the prompt Are you sure (Y/N)?, press Y.
    • Type cacls.exe "\folderpath" /G System:F, and then press ENTER.
    • When you read the prompt Are you sure (Y/N)?, press Y.
    • Type cacls.exe "\folderpath" /G BUILTIN\Users:R, and then press ENTER.
    • When you read the prompt Are you sure (Y/N)?, press Y.

    4. If you have earlier version of Office installed, remove them and try to run setup again.
