duplicate e-mails from gmail? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm currently receiving duplicate emails from gmail when I have the account linked to my outlook.  The same goes for my other school e-mail which I also have linked.  The strange thing is not every e-mail I receive is duplicated.  Another thing is that I tried to disable forwarding from the other two e-mail accounts but when I do so I stop receiving e-mails altogether.  I'm not really sure what to do.

  • If you are using Gmail POP3, please try to setup Gmail IMAP to check the result.

Check if there is any rules setting in Outlook, if yes, disable it to check the result.

Launch Outlook with the switch command-line "Outlook.exe /safe" to check if the behavior of receiving dulpcated message still happen in a non-add-ins environment.

    Thanks.
