adding calendars to outlook clients RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi all,

all my outlook clients are 2007 and 2010. The exchange is 2010. There are quite a few resource mailboxes on the exchange.

Is it possible to make outlook automatically add the calendar (not the entire mailbox) of the resource mailboxes to chosen outlook clients? for example . .

user A should have access to calendar A

user B should have access to calendar A and calendar B

user C should have access to calendar B and calendar C

there are quite a lot of users I therefore was hoping the calendars could automatically be added to each outlook client without me having to go round all the users / outlook clients and manually add the calendars? The users are not capable of adding in the calendars themselves.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Unfortunately, I have never seen or heard a good method to accomplish this unless. Note that Outlook (2010?) will add calendars automatically to the profile of users who all report to the same manager as defined in AD.

  • ok thank you, how do you mean assigned to a manager in AD? This may be the solution
