BCS to SQL Tables RRS feed

  • Dear All,

    I have a client requirement for the SharePoint 2016 anonymous web site

    1. To create and configure BCS with SQL tables (E.g.: User Registration & Event Registration)
    2. All the anonymous users should be able to Read, Create & Modify the items.
    3. After Registration, user should be redirected to Login Page

    Can Someone please guide and help me here

    1. We can create external content type and external list by using Business Connectivity Services and SQL tables. For more detailed information, refer to the article below.

    2. We can enable the anonymous users to read, create and modify the items. We can enable the anonymous access in the site firstly.

    Then we can go to the list->list settings->permission for the list->Stop Inheriting Permissions->Click “Anonymous access” in the ribbon->then select all as the picture below.

    3. What do you mean “after registration”?

    You could add the link of the login page in the page, when user clicks the link, then it will redirect the user to the login page.
