Hosted Exchange 2010 to Office365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

i was wondering if anyone wants to share there opinion.

I have a case comming up where I have to migrate a single domain from a hosted Exchange server (2010) to Office365. There will be about 100 mailboxes and 300 GB of public folders. In the end they dont want to use the hosted Exchange environment anymore.

What would be the preferred migration method? Is there any documentation available?

  • That will depend on what you are allowed to access on the current environment, most likely none of the built-in methods will work, at least not without going through the hosting provider support. So best contact them, otherwise you will be limited to client-side methods and third-party tools.

  • I will be having access to the Exchange 2010 hosted environment.

Will I be able to do a migration via minimal hybrid?
