Infopath & Adobe Reader V Acrobat RRS feed

  • Hi All,


    We are running a Citrix environment, but are having an issue with InfoPath and Adobe.


    We have Adobe Acrobat 7 Std and Adobe Reader installed side by side, and only some users have access to Acrobat (for licensing reasons).


    We recently upgraded Adobe Reader from 7 to 9 (to resolve another issue), and now the Info Path forms will only open with Acrobat Std.


    If the user does not have access to Acrobat, they get the error "Info Path has encountered an error".


    We have tried with Info Path 2003 and 2007, the same thing happens.


    If Acrobat is not installed, it opens with any version of reader no problem. 


    Reader is set as the default, and all other apps, such as email, use it by default instead of Acrobat.


    We have tried the following combinations:


    Acrobat 7 & Reader 8

    Acrobat 7 & Reader 9

    Acrobat 8 & Reader 8

    Acrobat 8 & Reader 9


    Has anyone seen this before?  Any Ideas?
