SharePoint Search Query Syntax Question

  • I am trying to find all the documents in my document library that have a particular custodian and custodian review on date, but I don't think I have the syntax right. I am using the search bar window in sharepoint. For example, I want to know all the documents Jim is custodian on but don't have a custodian reviewed on date greater than one year from today.

    Any ideas. Thanks

  • Hi,

You can't use SharePoint to do a search on a date > today's date.
The queries you can perform against the MOSS 2007 index only support negative date comparisons on complete dates. This means that you can only search on results that were for instance changed x number of days ago.
