Lync 2013 software RRS feed

  • hello,

    I just start studying lync 220133 ( 70-336 ) but i cant find the software. only lync 2013 basic avalable and its different than what the videos showing. how can i get  it.

    Please go to the Microsoft Evaluation Center https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/evalcenter/bb291020.aspx to download the software you need for the server side.

    A word to the wise on this. The Lync exams are being retired in November this year so you may want to begin studies on Skype for Business 2015 as that is the replacement for Lync 2013. This has been RTM since May 15 and just been released in the eval center on 180 day trial

    P.S The SfB exams have yet to be published. but learn the 2013 content and then use TechNet and Blogs for the differences between 2013 and Sfb. There are a few, but the core of it all is still very much Lync 2013

  • Lync 2013 client is part of Office 2013 Pro where you could consider the evaluation version in your endeavours:

    To study lync 220133 ( 70-336 ), you need to learn both Lync Server and Lync client. Also it is suggest to deploy a test Lync Server environment to understanding easily.

  • If Lync exams will be retire in November this year, so i think i wont study this course. i finished office 365 mcsa and i think i will studying exchange server 2013 ( mcse messaging ).
