Outlook attachment Office 2016 and above RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Few of our user using office 2016 and above are receiving email in plain text and when a image is in the body, it comes as an attachment. When a email is forwarded with a email attached, then the content or formatting is change. kindly suggest.

    Can you try the below option with any one user who has got the issues.

     In Outlook 2016

    Go to File > Options > Mail > Compose messages and set Compose messages in this format option to HTML.

    2. Also there might be possibility that it can be the recipient’s fault. MS Outlook and some security programs may convert all messages to plain text automatically.

    If it is Outlook, above the message there will be a note that “This message was converted to plain text.” The message can be converted to HTML format by clicking the Info-bar and choosing Display as HTML:

    Automatic email conversion can be turned off in Trust Center settings under E-mail Security tab, Read all standard mail in plain text, by checking off the checkbox:
