  • Hi,

    You probably need to recreate the connection to the Exchange server in Outlook. If you changed the server name in the mail account setup dialogue box that can happen.

    Just delete the mail account, reboot and add it back in. Make sure you accept the default option for cached Exchange mode.

    (How to to this, see here http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/microsoft-outlook-2010-email-account-settings/)

    Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.

    If it still not work, try to create a new outlook profile

    (How to do it, see here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918)

    Sincerely

  • Did it ever work?
    If so, what changed since the last time it worked?
    If not, have you verfied your account settings already?

    Which mail account type are you using? POP3, IMAP, Exchange, Hotmail, other...?

    Does the message end up in your Sent Items folder?
    Does this apply to anyone you try to send a message to or just a single or a select few people?

    Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus scanner. For more details see;
