  • For -user try "DOMAIN\USERNAME".

  • Hi there,

is there any solution for this problem?

Got the same error after moving Public Folders from 2010 to 2016.

    SID S-1-1-0 is not unique.
        + CategoryInfo          : NotSpecified: (:) [Remove-PublicFolderClientPermission], InvalidParamException

      cFolderClientPermission
        + PSComputerName        : [EXCHANGESERVERFQDN]

Public folders can be used, but I can't change any clientpermissions whatsoever, no remove, no add.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi there,

i found a solution by myself.

SID "S-1-1-0" is equal to "Everyone", which is "Standard" in Exchange terms.

In Powershell, when i list the Permissions with get-publicfolderclientpermission, I only see one Access right for "standard".

But when I logon a Workstation with an existing owner of the respective public folder, and head for the Access rights in Outlook, I see Standard is there two times, one with "none" access rights, and one with the access rights the public folder is supposed to have.

Deleting both rights, Saving, and readding the correct standard access right solved the problem for me.

Now I can work with powershell again as expected.

Maybe this helps someone who run into the same issue...

    Cheers
