Remove the Quotes on email addresses in the cache RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I type an email address I have stored in my contacts, it does not come up.  Example: I type Liz, it will not show up unless I type"Liz

I need to have these quotes stop, I just sent an email to another Liz by accident, This is getting annoying.

Please help, I can't find any articles on this.  I think its called Smart Tags.  I am not sure.

  • I recognize and agree with this ANNOYING behaviour.

The same counts for when sending to external recipients. Normally I would specify "displayname [smtp address]", eeh: without quotes ;-)

Sometimes the message is received as: displayname (as this is what I want), sometimes as "display name" (I hate the quotes for the above mentioned reason) and sometimes as smtp address (which looks very unproffesional)!

I can't get the clue when Outlook applies what rule to it! :-(

To add more pain to this behaviour, Outlook 2010 createds entries in 'Suggested Contacts' for all recipients sent to. Sometimes it helps to adjust this contact card and change the display name. But I want to maintain my contacts on ONE location: the Contacts folder.

Any suggestions or help? Thank you in advance!
