  • Hi Ashish, this is by design. The Path and ID provide you everything you need. If you're trying to provide a link to the item, it would be:

Path + "/DispForm.aspx?ID=" + ID   - This launches the display form

Path + "/EditForm.aspx?ID=" + ID     - This launches the edit form

If the link is outside of SharePoint, you just need to put your server URL in front like this:

    "http://server.com/" + Path + "/DispForm.aspx?ID=" + ID

  • Hi,

As Andrew Wessendorf mentioned, it is by design.

The Path column added to the excel table using Export to Excel feature is used to store the location or subfolder of the list and the paths are relative URLs.

If you think the reply is helpful, please mark it as the answer.

  • How Can we remove Item Type and Path from excel while exporting the list?

  • Hi,

There is no method to remove "Item Type" and "Path" while exporting list data to excel using Export to Excel feature.

You can delete the column in the excel after the data is exported.

    Best Regards,

    Linda
