Sharepoint 2013 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.0 Connection: close error RRS feed

  • My SharePoint application is running on SharePoint 2013 platform. There are time when I tried to access the URL, page display this error "Sharepoint 2013 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.0 Connection: close error".

    Can I know what does this error means? Is there anything I need to look from the server

    Did you create the site collection under the web application?

    For troubleshooting the issue, you could check things below:

    1. Check if there are site collections under the web application, if there is no, you could create the site collection under the web application.

    2. Delete the root managed path which is a wildcard inclusion and create a new managed path for root which is an explicit inclusion.

    3. Check if the workstation service is started. Go to server > administrator tools > services to check if the workstation service is started

    4. Reset IIS to check if it can work.
