Question

Hello all,
Simple environment, one mailbox server, no DAG
Last week I created a recovery database to restore a mailbox and the recovery database has since been removed.
Getting these warnings referencing that database and am at a loss to resolve them.
The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to process jobs in a mailbox database.
Database: Missing database (026eca3b-2899-4c05-9bea-cbc5736fd93a)
Error: Database '026eca3b-2899-4c05-9bea-cbc5736fd93a' doesn't exist.Any assistance greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Hi,
Please try with this.
1.Use ADSI edit tool to see the databases has completely removed from active directory.
2.Restart the Microsoft exchange topology service in exchange sever and then check if the same error continues or not .
3.Make sure AD replication is happening properly in your AD environment.
4.Please restart your server and check the same .
Please reply me if you have any queries.

That was done and no help.
I also combed through the registry and removed references to that DB GUID as well as the identity of the recovery DB that it references.
I have not restarted the server but will give that a try after hours.

ADSI is clean
AD replication is healthy
I will restart the server after hours tonight and report back the status after reviewing it tomorrow.
Thank you for the replies.

Hi,
It seemed that the database haven’t been removed completely.
We can use Get-MoveRequestStatistics cmdlet to view detailed information about move requests.

After restarting all of the relevant services and not experiencing any resolution to the warnings I restarted the server and am no longer getting the warnings for replication of the recovery database that is no longer in use.Thursday, October 9, 2014 3:30 PM
