  • Hi,

    The certificate and the CA server was changed

    Got Problem: External Lync user cannot change lync status from offline to online

    also got error from event logs 

    The remote name could not be resolved: 'autodiscover.contoso.com.'

    Any issues or fix?

  • If you have change the CA Server, have you done this for all Lync server. It is not supported to use different CA for Lync roles.

    Would you please elaborate the certificate information for your Lync Server environment?

    Did you use internal certificate or public certificate for Edge internal/external interface?

    Please make sure that you have update the new certificate for Lync Server (including Edge internal/ external interface certificate, if you use internal certificate for them).

    Also, make sure that the SN and SAN correctly for Edge external interface if you change it.
