Automatic Calendar Invite from Outlook to a SharePoint calendar RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    I have set up to allow emails to be sent to the calendar. When sending an invitation to the alias address nothing shows up on the SharePoint calendar. Is there a section where I'd need to accept calendar requests or should they automatically appear?

  • The events should automatically appear in the calendar. There is no need to accept it. Do you have any custom event receivers attached to this list?

  • The events aren't automatically showing for some reason. I'm not sure what a custom event receiver is? Could you advise?

    I have followed all the instructions. The calendar email address has been set up in the communications section. When inviting the calendar to an invite (with the email address), the event isn't showing up.
