Dear All,
I have deployed Skype for Business server 2019 standard edition servers. Now I want deploy the CDR feature. As per Microsoft Documentation, the Archiving and Monitoring DB cannot be co-exist with standard edition server. \
1) So, if I install a SQL Express server 2016 on a different Windows machine, can I use this feature?
2) What are the SQL express pre-requisites for this?
3) Can you please share any documents explaining the deployment?

As you said, we cannot collocate other databases on the Standard Edition Server. By default, the SQL Server Express back-end database is collocated on the Standard Edition Server. The monitoring and archiving database cannot be hosted on SQL express. But we can collocate each of the following database on the single database server:
*Monitoring database
*Archiving database
*A back-end database for an Enterprise Edition Front End Pool
