Display name for Site Id in auditing reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey Everyone,

Anyone have an idea on how to get the site name on the auditing reports as opposed to the GUID?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks,

    Hyde

  • The site display name is not stored with the audit data.  If you're using the OOTB reporting, you will get the Site ID and can correlate that to a site title (you should also get the path to the item, which will include the relative URL).

3rd party products, like Axceler ControlPoint, can associate the site title with the audit data.

  • Thanks; we actually do have ControlPoint so I will runs those reports instead of the OOB SP ones.

    Thanks again,
