  • Hi Ameenah,

    Per my knowledge, there is no OOB solution to rename “Snippet” and “Edit Snippet”. You can achieve your purpose using code.

    1. Edit the page and add a Script Editor Web Part. Then edit this web part.

    2. Click “Edit Snippet” and add below code:

    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.1.0/jquery.min.js"></script>

    <script>

    $(document).ready(function(){

    var spans = document.getElementsByTagName("span");

    for(var i=0;i<spans.length; i++) {

        if(spans[i].innerHTML == "Edit Snippet") {

            spans[i].innerHTML = "add your custom words here";

            break;

        }

    }

    });

    </script>

    3. Save your change and test the results.

    Best regards,

    Allen Bai

  • Hello,

    Not working. I think its because the function $(document).ready(function(). The function is for editform.aspx

    I want the labeling change once user paste the embed code from youtube in newform.aspx.

    Thank You.
