Excel file - Autoshape automatically appearing RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an excel document with no macros and references are all internal within the workbook.

I found strangely an autoshape image (just a normal elbow line) appear in one of the spreadsheet.

I keep deleting it, saving it but when I reopen it the very same autoshape appears!

To re-iterate, there are no macros or conditional formatting and the formulas are a very simple 'SUM' formulas.

I have the latest Office 2016 (16.0.6868) on Windows.

The file resides on my local HDD.
