Recover items after deleted from "Recover Deleted Items" in O365 Exchange RRS feed

  • My Retention Policy policy is as follows ....

    Following 3 tags are applied to my retention policy

    1- Retention Policy - Type: Default - Retention Period 7 years - Retention Action: Delete
         After retention period: Delete (Temporarily Recoverable)

    2- Delete Items - Type: deleted items - Retention Period 60 Days
        After retention period: Delete (Temporarily Recoverable)

    3- Never delete - Type Personal - Retention period Hold indefinitely
      After retention period: Do not delete (Using this policy on a message will prevent the message from being deleted   automatically)


    Question Regarding the Default policy .... 

    From Outlook ... User1 deletes items from his/her inbox it will go to deleted items and when deleted from deleted items it goes to Recover Deleted items.  How to recover from when it is deleted from "Recover Deleted items" by a smart user?  We are using o365 and exchange online?  I understand if it was on-prem we restore from a backup.

    What is the best practice around this if a smart user deletes it from "Recover Deleted Items" in O365 Exchange?
