  • if you want to remove all headers for a list or library, this short code could help you out. add a scripteditor webpart to the page, and add this code:

    <style>
             .ms-viewheadertr { display: none;}
    </style>

  • Hi,

    Go to list setting and click on that lookup column. And uncheck the check boxes under "Add a column to show each of these additional fields:". Happy Coding..

  • Hi Ameenah,

    How did you create these columns? Please provide your detail steps to reproduce this issue.

    Anyway, to hide the header, you can use IE F12 to find the element then use CSS code the hide the header.

    About F12:

  • Hi Ameenah,

    For your requirement, you can use F12 to find the id of the elements and use JavaScript code to change the text.

    Like, in my environment, the id is diidSort3Test_x003a_Title:

    Then edit the page and insert a Content Editor web part, and add the following code into HTML source of the web part:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.2.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
        $(function () {
            $("#diidSort3Test_x003a_Title").text("Test1");
        });
    </script>

    The result is:

    In the above code, you need to change the id to the id of the elements that you want to change, and change "Test1"in .text("Test1") to your text that you want to show.

    Thanks,

    Wendy

  • Hi Ameenah,

    I saw a same thread from you. The solution is using the following code:

    <script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(function () {
    	$(".ms-headerSortTitleLink").each(function(){
    		$(this).text($(this).text().replace(":Title",""));
    	});
    });
    </script>

    The same thread is:
