  • Hi Mick,

To clarify your situation, I would like to collect the information below:
    1. Did this issue occur suddenly? Are there any error message?
    2. Do any other users in your organization have the same issue?
    3. Does the issue exist if you configure your account in Skype for Business on another mobile device?
4.For the same meeting, did that will disconnect after 30 minutes with SFB desktop client?

For this issue, please try to check if all users had this issue, and for the SFB client please update it to the latest version

For SFB server side, it seems that no option to set the meeting period time for the conference, so if all users and mobile clients had the issue, please try to check if there are any event IDs in SFB application log.

Hope this reply is helpful to you.

    Alice Wang

  • Hi Mike,

We had the similar issue earlier, calls used to get disconnected after 15-20 min. We modified Audio device settings in skype client and it worked.

-> Set Play back devices headset earphone -> MS recommended headset  as default. (In this case we had Jabra  UC Voice 150a

-> Set Recording devices headset microphone  -> MS recommended headset as default.

-> Skype client Audio Device settings -> Audio device ->  select headset jabra ; unchecked secondary ringer.

-> Check the headset drivers:  drivers are up to date.

     Hope it helps!

  • Does this happen for every user? What kind of Reverse Proxy are you using? Same experience on iPhone and Android?

  • If this is over a Cisco wireless environment review your session timeout settings. I suspect you will find them set to the 30minutes.
