How to show both Name and Email address on printout page (Outlook 2007) RRS feed

  • Question

  • In Outlook Express - Email message receiver's field shows the Name only but it will print the Name with email address on printout page.

e.g. Email message - receiver: Jacky
The printed page - "Jacky" <jacky@womotek.com>

In Outlook, the name will show on both email message and printed page only.

e.g. Email message - receiver: "Jacky"
         The printed page - "Jacky"

A user ask if it can print out with both Name and Email address on the printed page in Outlook.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

Unfortunately there is no way in Outlook to print an Email Address
The address that is printed is based on the DisplayName of the person sending the e-mail.
Depending on the source of the email, the sending user would either have to change the display name on their email client, or on their E-mail Server (if this an E-mail from an Exchange Server or other similiar environment)

    Thanks!
