  • SP1 hasn't been available for quite some time. You'll have to use SP2.

  • Trevor, We are trying to build a farm which is similar to an exisiting farm to migrate the content. The existing farm has Sharepoint 2010 with SP1 installed and SQL is 2008 version. As SQL 2012 version is supported with Sharepoint 2010 with SP1, we built the SQL server 2012. Now if I install SP2, will the backups from existing environment can be restored on new farm? Please note that I am taking site collection backups not database attach method.

  • No, Site Collection backups would not work. SP1 is also unsupported.
