AES 256 bit encryption RRS feed

  • Hi, I'd like to know if AES 256 bit encryption can be configured for Microsoft Office 2010 products - Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  Please advise.  Thanks.

  • Hi there,

    You should be able to providing the system supports it. Using GPO you can configure the "Set CNG cipher key length" to 256 (or any multiple of 8)
