unable to find installed printer using word 2010 under windows 7


  • printer is working fine using test print but just can't see it from word

    Any ideas?

    Run the Fix it tool in following article:


    If doesn’t work, please repair the Office 2010 then restart pc:

    1.Click Start, then click Control Panel.

    2.Click Programs and Features.

    3.Click the Office 2010 program that you want to repair, then click Change.

    4.Click Repair, then click Continue. You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.


    If the issue persist, you can consider the following suggestion:


    We can follow the steps in the articles to create a new user account to test the issue. If the problem does not occur in the new user account, some settings in the old account are corrupted. We can copy the main user files from the old account to the new account, delete the old account, and then continue using the new account.
