  • Hi,

Do you want to delete items older than 3 months, or delete items every 3 months no matter when they are received/created? To delete items that older than 3 months, you can apply a retention policy to the mailbox.

    1. Create a Default policy tag (DPT) that is "Delete after 3 months (90 days)".

    2. Assign the tag to a retention policy.

    3. Apply the retention policy to the mailbox.

To delete items every 3 month, you can run the Search-Mailbox cmdlet manually to delete them.

    Search-Mailbox -Identity <alias> -DeleteContent
