Calendar Invites RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Can anyone help. I recently have access to a shared calendar. I want to be able to send invites from the shared calendar but I don't want the person who owns the shared calendar to have to receive emails regarding the invite as its in there calendar already. Is there any easy way to do this?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hi,

Generally, if you send a meeting request from a shared calendar, the Calendar owner would not receive the notification that a meeting is sent or not. But the Calendar owner will receive the meeting response from the meeting attendees when they accept/decline it.

So what do you want to block? If you are set as a delegate for the shared calendar, we can do more delegate settings in the calendar owner's Outlook side:

File > Account Settings > Delegate Settings, add you as the delegate, set calendar folder permission. Also set the behavior for the meeting response and update:
