  • Hello,

Looks like an update from Outlook which could do that.

FYI, Office 365 current versions aren't compatible with Exchange 2010 will reach End of Life on January 14, 2020 !

You'd better schedule an update of Exchange as soon as you can to prevent future problems.

Otherwise, you can try removing latest Outlook updates to verify if it fixes the problem...

  • Hi,

What's the user B mailbox type? User mailbox or shared mailbox? Are user A and user B both on-pre mailboxes?

How did you assign user A's calendar permission to user B?

Based on your description, I suspect that the issue is more than likely due to the cache on theOutlook, please try steps below to fix the problem:

1.Close all instances like Outlook, Skype for Business.

2.Open File Explorer. In the address bar up the top copy and paste the following path, or open the path if your location of Outlook is different.

    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

3.Look for Outlook Data File which corresponds to the user account and deletes it and close File Explorer

4.Open Outlook again and wait for Outlook to resync

You could also clear "Download shared folders" in Outlook, account settings. Let the calendars work in real time and reduce slow performance of Outlook.
