PR_URL_NAME missing in Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Today I started migrating my app to Exchange 2010 and noticed that PR_URL_NAME MAPI property is missing. How do I get the path of an item now?

  • WebDAV and Exoledb are no longer available on Exchange 2010 so these paths are no longer useful in any type of application. Why are you trying to get the path ?

  • That was really easy to determine folder level without querying all the folders. I used that in EWS for Exchange 2007.

  • You can use the parentfolderid to determine the root folder of an item or folder and then backtrack (reverse traversal which is what you had to do in Exchange 5.5) to determine that path otherwise a findfolder using a deeptraversal would return the folder hierarchy which you should be able to match the folderid against.
