  • Hi,

    After recovering from backup some files in some project folders can not be opened. It says Unexpected System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: There are no more files.

    Can I recover the file?

  • Hi tzigone,

     

    For your issue, I’m not sure via which method you restored a sharepoint site. If it is command line or web interface, sometimes it will come.  Because the restore command is not very well versed with restoring large backup files. And might not restore all the data.

    This error occurs because the files of the site which was backed up are stored in database. But since the data in database was not restored the site does not work properly and hence the above error
    As a workaround, you could restore it from content database directly. Here is an useful article for your reference:
