can't see new incoming emails or sent emails in outlook 2010

  • Hello,

I can NOT see any incoming emails or emails i sent/send, in the "sent". I can send emails out to other emails with no problems( i have sent test emails and i got them on other emails). Also, i can see emails are coming in with notification and sound next to the clock. If i am quick enough i can click on a notification and it does open it and i can see the incoing email. however, inbox shows NOTHING came in and i can NOT see all the emails just came in. I don't know where they go!!!!??? I have uninstalled the office and reinstalled it and the same thing, can't see incoming or out going emails. I just don't underestand what is happening here. i never had any issues with outlook 2007 it worked great.

Also, how can i rest outlook and start from scratch like it was never installed whith all emails deleted? i try reinstalled and it kept all the settings and i was back to square one again.

PLEASE help step by step so i can underestand what i need to do or done wrong.

    Thank you

  • Hi,

You still need to check the following as Leif says:

‘Start by stopping Outlook and verify that everything looks normal when using OWA. If it does we know that it is an Outlook issue.

If it is an Outlook issue, verify that Outlook is not configured to deliver mails to a pst file - try to configure Outlook to work in online mode (remove the checkmark in use cached mode)’

And if it doesn’t work, you can try Anil’s way.

    Hope this helps.
