Depends on the router, but usually you need to configure port forwarding to allow incoming traffic on port 443 to reach the Exchange server.
You should be aware, however, that most home-use Internet connections block SMTP, so you probably won't be able to send or receive email on your server over port 25.

Refer following.
You have to add forwarder from your router to exchange server. Anyway your router should have a static ip address.
From Exchange end

Hi,
If you want to use OWA with external network, you have to publish OWA to the Internet. Here are some blogs about publishing OWA, hope you can get some useful information from them:
Publishing Exchange 2013 OWA Through WAP using Pass-through Authentication
Publishing Exchange Server 2016 "Outlook Web App" to the Internet with AD FS

Hi Lydia,
Does that means with my home router and Virtual lab for exchange and DC is not enough to test OWA?
In my router, i configure to forward port 443,80 and 25.
i configured exchange lab and was able to ping autodiscover.company.com internally it resolve to ip address 172.X.X.X which this IP does not exist in my router.
when i use public network to surf autodiscover.company.com , below error occurred.
Any misconfiguration?

Hi,
Your OWA can only be used with internal network, and 172.x.x.x should be your internal IP address of your Exchange server.
If you want to use OWA with external network, you must publish it to the Internet. Additionally, you also have to create related A records and MX records on public DNS server. You have to make sure your Exchange server can be found with external network.
