Email notification for sharepoint lists


  • I have created a task list in a team site and I want to enable email notification to all folks mentioned in "Assigned To" column for every new item added to the list. I have enabled "Sent e-mail when ownership is assigned" setting in the "advanced Settings". It still doesn't seem to be sending out any emails.

    Any idea on what might be going wrong?
