Beginner to MS Project questions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I just started using and learning MS Project 2 days ago and I just got a few questions.

So, this is what I'm supposed to do: http://i.imgur.com/rQsaHrN.png

And this is the finish project: http://i.imgur.com/35rn3Uc.png

So, what does the "68?" number represent? That line popped up when I hit project summary and I don't think it's the actual duration for the project unless I'm mistaken. I'm supposed to figure out the date it'll be finished as well as how many days are required to complete the project.

If it's not 68, how would I find how long the whole project will take from MS Project without counting manually?

    Thanks.

68 is the Duration of the entire project, measured in working days.  The Duration value is calculated from the Start date of the earliest task to the Finish date of the latest finishing task.  Hope this helps.
