  • Hi,

1.Which applications are receiving the error?

2.Is there any requisite software for this app?

3.I search it on internet,it may be related to  Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015,please try to install it first, and  test again.

  • Hi,

The application is an internal product . Basically we have 2 components ( java and .net) which communicate through a C++ interface.

It was found that the c++ dll was build using VS 2008 toolset . and was causing problem when deployed in Windows 2016 server . The dependency walker errors are misleading I suppose.

When the dll was build with VS 2013 toolset every thing works .

Any idea what is the that preventing the c++ dll build in VS 2008 toolset from working in 2016 server OS?

Re-building the dll in VS 2013 toolset and deploying has huge test effort , so I am trying to find if any update can make the old dll work on 2016 server .

    Thanks
