  • Hello,

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking for? What are these pictures for?

  • I think you will be disappointed if you try to bend Project to your will to upload photos into it.  Instead, put (upload or whatever) to wherever you want to store the photos, and then in a custom field in Project put the link/filename or whatever is a reference to that photo for that Project tasks.  Just a reference pointer in Project to where the photograph file is stored.  Keep it simple.

Remember: Microsoft Project is a computation engine to compute the cost and schedule, including identification of the critical path.

  • And of course you could just use the hyperlink field to store the link.

  • While I am already using this way.. while the ask is to operationalise for an option to open the Mobile device camera & take photographs as evidences along with geo coordinates lat and long of the location wherein the progress held.

It will enable control via simply uploading the photographs by the Engineer at site only while he may not be able to upload the same from his mobile device gallery while he / she reports actual progress.

  • You can build a custom mobile app / PowerApp for this and workout where to store to image (SharePoint, Azure CDN, Azure Blob storage, etc.) with the status update details.

Looking for storage to Google Team Drive

  • Scatterworlds --

I cannot believe you are continuing to use these forums for free consulting assistance from our community.  Asking for technical documentation and architecture is way beyond the bounds of what our users can help with.  This is the kind of work that requires a PPM specialist.  If your current PPM Partner has failed you, I would strongly recommend you seek the services of a qualified PPM Partner.  Your requirements for GIS integration with saved photos to Google Team Drive is the kind of work that PPM Partners can really help with.

Also, just as an additional thought, if your people save the photos in the Document library in the Project Site for the enterprise project, they become part of the documentation for the project.  Hope this helps.

  • Dale A. Howard, Two PPM partner engagements conducted with one being pathetic and the other did not met the expectations at all. Finalizing for the 3rd one already. Moreover, let me know in case of any technical or steps available for saving photographs in Google drive from MSP Connected mode and EPM PWA.
