Project Server 2016 CSOM Determine if Project is Published RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I cannot find a way to tell if a project is currently published. There are times when users publish a project prematurely and ask to have it "unpublished", which we do by deleting it from the "Published Database Only". In situations like this, the DraftProject's LastPublished property still has a date, so that doesn't help. It's essential that changes to the project via CSOM do not cause a project to be published unless the project is currently published. This was possible via the PSI by looking at the Published store to see if the project existed. It would be nice if there was an IsPublished property of the DraftProject.

It seems like the only current solution is to query the database. Does anybody have a better idea?

    Thanks,

    Erik
