Issue with rights on a shared mailbox RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I had a scenario in which user has been given full access and send as rights on a shared mailbox. Send as is working through OWA but its throwing error when trying the same with Outlook application in PC. Below is the error message : Error is [0x80070005-0x000004dc-0x00000524] which occurs when user doesn't have send as access.

    From: System Administrator
    Sent: 21 June 2019 03:28
    Subject: Undeliverable: test mail 3

     Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

           Subject:     test mail 3

          Sent:  21-06-2019 03:28

     The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

           User01 on 21-06-2019 03:28

                This message could not be sent. You do not have the permission to send the message on behalf of the specified user.

     __________________________________________________

     Diagnostic information for administrators:

    __________________________________________________

     Error is [0x80070005-0x000004dc-0x00000524].

    can you guys please have look at this and suggest a solution.

    1) Ensure you have downloaded the updated Offline Address Book in Outlook 

    2) Ensure the shared mailbox is visible in the GAL.
