The Resource Utilization by Project view is not working in MS Project Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • The Resource Utilization by Project view is not working properly in MS Project Online. The graph is only showing the Capacity line but not the bars for the Projects' Assigned work.

Have tested in multiple browsers and multiple environments. Looks like an issue with Microsoft.

    Can someone confirm?

  • Hi,

It is working for me, but I've heard about an issue for team assignments. Are you using team assignments? Are you looking at the right period? Are your assignments committed? Are you looking at the right resources? Can you make a simple test on a new project?

    Hope this helps,

  • Same issue here, not using team assignments. Any ideas on fix?

  • It's working for me on two separate tenants. Make sure

    1. The tasks have been published.

    2. You are not mistakenly using a proposed booking type.

If you still have an issue then worth logging a call with Microsoft.

  • Hi,

Did you try resource utilization by project as view? That's the one we're not getting to work, it just shows blank weeks.

  • Any idea on what the Estimated time for resolution is?

  • Unfortunately, Microsoft was not able to reproduce the issue. You should then open a support ticket to have a resolution.

    Hope this helps,
