We have just implemented Project Server 2007 and are having some difficulty in setting up some of the roles to meet out organisation I need some help please.
We have Project Manager - Who create Project, assign tasks to a generic resource which is a team.
The Team Leads role is to then create subordinate tasks, then assign the task to team members,
I have in the Team leads permissions (my resources) the security permission to View Resource Assignments in Assignment Views set to allow.
we have implemented RBS and the team members fall under the team Leader of a particular team,
The issue we are having is that the Team Lead can see all their resources within their team but cannot view team assignments even though there are tasks assigned to resources within the team even when they are selected. They can view availability.
We only want the team lead to view their own team. we do not want team member to be able to self asign tasks.
