Erro ao aceder Surface area Configuration RRS feed

    Foi instalado o SQL Server 2005 Express no windows vista sem dar erro mas quando acedo Surface area Configuration dá a seguinte mensagem de erro:

    An exception occurred in SMO while trying to manage a service. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)

    Additional information:

    Failed to retrieve data for this request. (Microsoft.SqlServer.SmoEnum)

    The operation could not be completed. (WinMgmt).

    Ok,

    Com o utilitário "WMIDiag" detectei que tinha os seguintes problemas na PATH:

    ERROR: The SYSTEM32 folder is NOT in the PATH.

    ERROR: The WBEM folder is NOT in the PATH.

     

    Foi só acrescentar o comando "C:\windows;c:\windows\system32;c:\windows\system32\wbem;" na PATH, reiniciar o PC e os probelams ficaram ultrapassados.
