MCSA 2003 para MCSE 2003 RRS feed

    Bom dia pessoal ! Gostaria de esclarecer uma dúvida que tenho, e não consigo ter certeza de qual é a informação correta.

    Anos atrás tirei o MCSA 2000, realizando as provas:

    215 - Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
    216 - Implementing and Administering a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure
    270 - Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional
    218 - Managing a Windows 2000 Network Environment

    Recentemente, fiz a prova de atualização, conseguindo assim o título de MCSA 2003, a prova que fiz foi:

    292 - Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment for an MCSA Certified on Windows 2000

    Agora minha meta é o MCSE 2003, e para isso, de todas as informações que levantei, concluí que realizando a prova 70-293 e 70-294, seria suficiente para atingir o MCSE 2003.

    A pergunta é: é isso mesmo ? Alguém consegue me dar uma resposta com embasamento "oficial" de que fazendo a 293 e 294, atingiria o MCSE 2003 ?

    If you have an MCSA on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server credential, note the following about your exam requirements:

    •

    Networking: You have the option of taking Exam 70-292 instead of Exams 70-290 and 70-291. However, you must also take Exams 70-293 and 70-294.

    •

    Client: Since you have already passed Exam 70-210 or 70-270, the client requirement for an MCSE on Windows Server 2003 certification has been met—you do not have to take a client exam.

    •

    Design: When you earned your MCSA certification, a design exam was not required. To attain the MCSE on Windows Server 2003 certification, you must pass a design exam listed in the certification requirements described earlier.

    •

    Elective: Your MCSA credential itself satisfies the elective requirement for an MCSE on Windows Server 2003 certification because it proves your ability to administer another version of the platform. Thus, you do not have to take an elective exam.

    Bom dia Eduardo,

     

    Cara, pra chegar a MCSE 2003, no mínimo vc teria q fazer 7 exames.

    Como vc fez o Upgrade pra MCSA 2003, e como pra linha MCSE 2003 exigem alguns exames q vc naum fez ainda, então vc deve fazer ainda + 4 exames: 293, 294, 1 de Design (297 ou 298) e 1 Eletivo (086 ou 227 ou 228 ou 229 ou 232 ou 297 ou 298). Esses últimos server tanto pra Design como pra Eletivo.

     

    Isso tb vai depender de q careira vc pretende seguir: DBA, Messaging, Security, etc.
