    Olá Senhores,

    Tenho um Exchange 2003 Active/Passive cluster.
    Ontem o SMTP Virtual Server Instance 1 falhou e jogou os recursos de cluster para o nó 2. 

    Eu olhei o cluster log e o erro abaixo foi mostrado:
    SMTP Virtual Server Instance 1 (XXX): Failed to start the service 'SMTPSVC'.      Error Code: 995

    00000f70.0000193c::2009/05/05-07:51:11.152 INFO [FM] FmpOfflineResource for SMTP Virtual Server Instance 1 (XXX), bad status returned 5023.

    On Event log, there are a few error entries:-
    SMTP Virtual Server Instance 1 (XXX): Failed to bring the resource online
    SMTP Virtual Server Instance 1 (XXX): Failed to start the service 'SMTPSVC'
    LDAP returned the error [10] No Such Attribute when importing the transaction

    Alguem pode me dizer do que se trata?

    Ola Adriano,

    Te aconselho instalar um update que coleta informações para te dar detalhes do problema em um cluster Exchange, veja aqui: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/834877

    E no seu caso habilite logs no máximo para SMTP e ver o que houve.
