Windows Explorer wont refresh on the C: Drive.

  • So I have an SSD with windows 10 installed on it. It is partitioned so that I can install other programs onto the second partition without cluttering up the OS partition. However, when I go to add/delete/edit etc any files or programmes on the C: drive or E: drive (E drive is the partition), then it won't auto refresh. This isn't a problem on the D: drive which is a standard 1TB HDD. I have tried all the other online fixes etc but none seem to fix the issue with the partitioned drives. I have tried the reinstall option and fresh install of OS but it doesn't seem to fix it.

  • Hi Kinetikku,

Could you insert a screenshot of Disk Management, or share it via cloud storage such as OneDrive, Dropbox, etc, if you cannot insert it into your post.
