Powershell Output is invisible

    Question

  • Hi there,

So I am trying to make my time with AD as easy as possible, as such i have written myself some scripts that let me do queries easily. However I have ran into an issue.

3 things I do, List Users AD Groups, List Memebers of an ED Group and View the permissions list of a folder on a network drive.

If I run each of these they output ok

$Username = (Read-Host "Please Enter the User Name")
        (Get-ADUser $Username –Properties MemberOf | Select-Object Memberof).memberof | Get-ADGroup | Select-Object Name

However after a while, the command runs and outputs but the output is invisible, it is there, but cant be seen.

has anyone ran into this before?

    Kindest Regards

    J

  • Hey there,

Well that definitly gives me the same output as my section, however it does not address the issue I have.

The line will run fine, however, the output is outputted with no characters. so it looks blank but is not.
