Asked by:
New MailBox couldn't receive Email

Question
-
I have Exchange Server 2013 as mailbox Database. My database became dismount and i tried to repair it with "ESEUTIL" and i was successful.
after a while i found a few mail boxes had problem, and i tried to solve it.but some of them seemed difficult.
so I exported old mailbox and I assigned a new mailbox database for specific user with old email address (x@domain.com).
when a person (for example:y@domain.com) send email to him(x@domain.com);it fails.
but if my new user (x) send an email to him (y) and "y" reply it; they can email to each other

Hi,
It looks like autocomplete cache in outlook is not allowing to send the email. You can clear it as below and try to send again
- In the To field on your screen, type in the entry that you want removed from the Outlook cache.
- When the entry appears as a suggestion, hover your mouse over it and you’ll find an X icon next to the entry. Click on this icon and it’ll remove the selected entry from the Outlook cache library.

Hi Hamidreza Akbari,
Have you tried the method that ManU post? Does it work for you?
Try to re-create the profile and see if you can send to him.
If the issue still persist, can you post the NDR message you got and post the result of Message tracking log?
Regards,
Eric Yin

Hi Akbari,
Would you explain how you "assign the user new DB without moving old data"? Do you mean modifying his mailbox name/address and create a new mailbox with his name/address?
Please test if there is same issue while using OWA/ after you remove the address information in Outlook as Manu post/ in Online mode.
Did you get any NDR of failed messages? If yes, please post the message here with personal information covered.
Also, run the following command to track the message and post the result here:
Get-MessageTrackingLog -Server Mailbox01 -Start "03/13/2018 09:00:00" -End "03/15/2018 17:00:00" -Sender "john@contoso.com" -messagesubject text
